I have been gaming on the net or at brick and mortar gambling halls for a lot of years. I have been taught, the fixation can acquire a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a run. I have been through uncounted tens of thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and at times, I can go a bit too long. It feels like you are only having fun till you make a decision to consider your squanderings and the guilt sets in, and of course you continue advising yourself "I might be able to win it back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you feel icky in your stomach and the harder you try the more rapidly you throw away.
When you discover that you are up, STAY in the Black! When you start to fritter away, do not inform yourself, "well just 1 more" over and over again, trust me, this technique barely ever operates. Say you are gambling on slots, have a figure set aside ahead of beginning your gaming. DO NOT exceed this restriction, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate cup. Do not risk your earnings no matter what. After you have gambled through your original predetermined cutoff, stop. Back off, regardless if it is on the net or in a land based gambling den, do not stay around. Always remember, there no doubt will be other days, other times. Obviously, this process can work for any game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, 21 or any other game.
Keep in mind, gambling should be exciting not demanding, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the hit, don’t ever begin.
